Clarity is one of the Four C's, representing the four variables that are used to calculate the quality and value of a diamond. The term "Clarity" refers to the presence or absence of tiny imperfections (inclusions) within the stone, and/or on the surface of the stone. As a consumer, it is important to learn and understand the clarity designations found within the "Four C's" diamond grading system.

Diamond Designations

You want to make sure the stone has good depth as well, a shallow stone is not only more dangerous than a well cut stone, it's also not nearly as bright. Once again it's the critical angles and reflection of a well cut stone that's the key to its beauty... Stay 61-64% here in depth, and head for that 1.5:1 aspect ratio for a great look and lively diamond. Colour also shows fairly dramatically in a pear shape cut; all fancy cuts tend to show lower colours more significantly than a well cut round stone.

Your relationship with us is founded on trust and assurance of the company’s integrity. Greendale Diamonds maximises the potential of every stone. Any number of individual diamonds may share the same 4Cs, but each is unique and we exclusively choose the best.
